![]() Local Contacts Across the RegionOne of the features of Mensa is its network of volunteer officers who help to ensure that the society functions well at a local level.These volunteers are known as Local Secretaries (or "LocSecs" in Mensa parlance). They act as facilitators, and constitute a primary source of information for individual members who wish to know more about activities in any particular locale. In order to spread the workload, LocSecs are allocated nominal areas within a region. Individual members are free to make contact with any of these volunteer officers - but for convenience they should start by contacting the LocSec covering, or nearest to, their own home.
