Local Contacts Across the Region

One of the features of Mensa is its network of volunteer officers who help to ensure that the society functions well at a local level.

These volunteers are known as Local Secretaries (or "LocSecs" in Mensa parlance). They act as facilitators, and constitute a primary source of information for individual members who wish to know more about activities in any particular locale.

In order to spread the workload, LocSecs are allocated nominal areas within a region. Individual members are free to make contact with any of these volunteer officers - but for convenience they should start by contacting the LocSec covering, or nearest to, their own home.

At some point, you should have been provided with a list of local contacts by the Mensa head office. However if, as a member, you are currently unsure of who to contact, please contact the Regional Officer for the Northwest, Pete Baimbridge, directly. You can email him at: type by hand

Queries specifically about this website should be directed to the webmaster: type by hand
